A huge part of my job is traveling to races around the country to capture the action and the stories happening on the ground. Some racers’ favorite part was the rope climb, some said the sandbag carry, others were just brutally honest and said their favorite part was the end 💀 😂 “I just don’t take training too seriously…I make sure it’s fun.” 40 degrees and pouring rain made for a truly gnarly course that just about every racer said was one of the hardest they’ve ever ran. Just an outrageous performance from @jjmcdougaler in the U.S. National Series racing up and down Mountain Creek, in the pouring rain, and to top it all off…running with a torn meniscus. What better day than Marathon Monday in Boston to share one of my favorite videos I’ve made that borrows a quote from one of my favorite authors @ryanholiday Grow the game. No, I don’t need attention. This racer I spoke with DISLOCATED HER HIP and still finished the race, then lost nearly 100 lbs, came back the next season to run the same exact course in the mountains, and then earned a spot on the podium.
